CHELSEA TO LOSE COURTOIS AND KEEP HAZARD

Chelsea are increasingly likely to lose their star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid this summer. The Spanish side is seeking to replace Keylor Navas with Courtois as the new number one. The Belgian is keen on a switch to the Spanish capital due to a personal situation as his family resides there. The former Atletico Madrid man in between the sticks could in goal for the Champions League champions for the 2018/2019 season.

As that is in the coffers, The Blues could be looking to quickly snap up AS Roma highly rated keeper Becker Alisson. The Brazilian is set to move to Anfield, who want him to replace Loris Karius. The Reds are seeking a permanent solution to their goalkeeping situation and feel Alisson is the perfect man for the job. However, Liverpool would have to break the transfer records to land him.

Liverpool would have to splash up to £66 million to get Alisson. They are confident of landing the player but if Chelsea were to agree to sell Courtois and enter the race, Roma would be looking to up the fee if it was not yet done. The 25-year old is open to the move to Anfield, especially as they are playing in the Champions League and are in contention for titles in the coming term.

Chelsea would be seeking to keep Eden Hazard. There are reports that Madrid might be looking to make a move for the player. Hazard has not hidden his interest in a move to Madrid and he could finally get his chance as his career peaks. Barcelona are also reported to be interested in the 2018 World Cup star.

New coach Maurizio Sarri has played down exit rumours regarding Hazard, saying he would “improve him.” Sarri has brough Jorginho from Napoli and hopes to rebuild the team to play attacking football next season.
