Ferreira, a Contributor to Chelsea’s Current Success

It is believed by Frank Lampard that Chelsea has to go a long way for reaching the long term success of the academy of Ajax. He has also said that he will definitely not get carried away by the performance of his side which is still very young. Ajax feels proud to produce local talents and the champions from the Netherlands came within a fraction of reaching the final of the Champions league the previous season. But unfortunately, they lost all the last four matches played against Tottenham. Lampard has always given opportunities to new talent after he took over at Stamford Bridge.

Petr Cech got the appointment as the technical and performance adviser of the club during summer. In fact, Paulo Ferreira, Claude Makelele, Carlo Cudicini, and Tore André Flo have also held influential positions at the club. Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, and Fikayo Tomori have all caught the attention of others, but he still firmly believes that the academy for Chelsea is incomparable with the Ajax’s academy. Chelsea has also tried the technique by installing their former players in significant positions in the past few years which is very much similar to Ajax.

Regarding taking up ex-players in the management, Frank Lampard said that when they are at essential positions, they have a certain feeling towards the club. The fans also like to see players who care for their club not only because they love the sport, but also because they care much about their careers. It is also a great thing for the club to take up former players because of their merit. Everyone who wants to work for the club should have in mind to do things that will bring about improvement for the club and the players. They should also know how to work hard and get success.
