A few years ago, Radamel Falcao was considered to be one of the top forwards in the world. The Colombian attacker really managed to make a name for himself and this was when he was performing with the Athletic Madrid jersey.

During the 2 years that Radamel Falcao spent as a player of Athletic Madrid, he managed to score league 52 goals in 68 appearances.

Falcao was so impressive with Athletic Madrid that As.Monaco were interested in signing the Colombian forward and splashed out around €60 million to secure his services.

Unfortunately for As.Monaco, Falcao was not able to replicate his performances and he had to deal with a number of injuries which kept him out of the playing field for a considerably long period of time.

The Colombian forward was only able to score 11 league goals for As.Monaco in 20 appearances, which is an underwhelming amount of goals considered to what he had done with Athletic Madrid.

Falcao is currently performing for Chelsea on a season loan deal but he hasn’t been improving as he still struggles with injuries and the goals haven’t been arriving either, after such an underwhelming campaign with the Premier League club, the Colombian attacker isn’t expected to last a much longer time with Chelsea but Falcao has spoken out saying that he wants to be given another shot for him to prove his worth and not be transferred back to As.Monaco in the winter transfer window.

“The team’s start has not been the best and I haven’t been allowed to have the opportunities I would have liked. But I am very grateful, happy and with high expectations of being able to succeed and have opportunities in the second half of the season.In 2016 I hope to be with the Colombia team in the Copa America and the Olympics and to have the results that we all want to qualify for the World Cup.

With my club, I want to have success and to be able to play. That is what I want the most now.”” Chelsea’s Radamel Falcao said as he voiced his desire to not only stay in Stamford Bridge and help Chelsea in their upcoming challenges but Falcao also said that he wants to be with his national team in the approaching World Cup and Copa America tournaments.
