Ferreira knows a thing or two about the mentality of the Portuguese as the former Chelsea defender said that Mourinho wants to win it all and despite him having a bad reputation with certain players, Ferreira insists that everyone in Stamford Bridge would like to see Mourinho stay in charge for a long time.

“When you are at this club you want to win titles and for next season it will be the same. The
motivation is to win trophies. He wants to succeed and do well, for how long I do not know. I think everyone at the club wants him to stay for a long, long time.I think everyone would like to see him in control for many years but in football, anything can happen.” Former Chelsea defender, Paulo Ferreira said.

In Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge, he sealed the Premier League which is a major accomplishment for the English club as they had not won it since the 2009-10 season and after such a successful season, Mourinho was offered a contract extension by Chelsea as the Portuguese signed a new 4 year contract where he will be earning €8.5 million each season.
